Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Diepen, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms work alongside, and don't replace, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of Diepen.

What Diepen is

Diepen is a focus-timer app for iOS. It helps you run timed work sessions, tag them by project, review your history, and — if you subscribe to Diepen Pro — see AI-generated insights about your focus patterns. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what data that involves.

Free tier limits

Diepen is free to use with the following limits, which Diepen Pro removes:

• Up to 3 focus sessions per calendar day
• Up to 3 project tags
• 7 days of visible session history

We may adjust these limits in a future update; if we do, we'll note it in the app's release notes.

Diepen Pro subscriptions

Diepen Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Apple's In-App Purchase system:

Exact current pricing and trial availability are always shown on the in-app purchase screen before you buy, and may vary by region — the table above is a summary, not a substitute for that screen.

Cancellation & refunds

You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies — we're not able to issue refunds directly.

Your data, your content

Your session history and project tags belong to you. You can export them as a CSV at any time, or delete them permanently, from Settings. We don't claim any ownership over the content you create in the app.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from Diepen, except where applicable law explicitly permits it. Don't use the app to violate any law, or to interfere with its normal operation for other users.

No warranty

Diepen is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated insights will be accurate — they're a productivity aid, not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diepen and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the effective date above, and for material changes, we'll let you know inside the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
